Update #2

Things on the way to me:

Pokemon 10 postcard set- I saw this late at night on garagesalejapan and knew I wanted them. The art on them is adorable and really rather random. The seller agreed to hold them for me, which was quite nice. I will be getting more things to frame

Pokemon stamps- I really like buying on pkmncollectors as I get to see items I never knew existed. This person had the complete set of 150 stamps for sale so I picked out a few that I wanted. I hesitated on commenting so I missed out on Articuno but there is always next time. I'm getting: Moltres, Zapdos, Clefairy and Wigglytuff. I am going to use them to make Christmas ornanments.

Disney Cuties- I spotted the same seller that I bought the first piece of fabric from selling her last half yard of a different cuties pattern. So I bought that. I don't know what I am going to do with half a yard but I know I'll find some use for it.

Kuroitenshi13's art prints- I have the frames all ready to go ^^.

Two packages in the mail today!

1) Sailor Moon Manga cover post cards

These are absolutely fantastic, I can't believe I was debating to buy them or not. I love the art work on them. Go to this gallery to view all the images. There were orginally 18 in the set but the seller only had 16, it is alright as they were images I kind of liked. I now have to find about 20 + frames to frame all the post cards (including Mike's Slayers one), I also am looking into some sort of background paper so it doesn't show the backing of the frame. These got to me very quickly, less then a week to Canada ^_^.

2) Rainbowcatz order.

I love everything I got in the order. I bought a Delicious Sweet wash cloth, which will be framed. I was worried it was going to come folded but it came flat, which was excellent. The other thing I ordered was a Cram Cream bag, which has black cats and strawberries. I am using it as my main bag to hold the three other bags that have D&D stuff, this is the two little bags that have all my dice and the other bag with my white board markers in them. I really like the material the bag it is made out of it, it's a plastic like material. I'm very pleased with the order and will definitely order from the Rainbowatz site again. The items I bought were as described (in new condition) and I was informed when I the items I ordered were shipped out. I am already thinking of the items I like to buy for a second order. I'll probably try to keep it small, probably only a couple of things.

In closing I am very pleased with what I got in the mail.

Stuff that came in the mail for the past week and a bit

My eraser making set came today:

I am using it to make magnets for family for Christmas. I bought this off a seller on etsy. There seems to be a larger variety of these out there, another one that I'd like to pick up is the doughnuts one.

Another etsy purchase was these bags, which I will use for dice bags. I find myself constantly looking at bags I can use for dice bags, I think right now I have five. I just have to get some more dice to fill them up, My only complaint with the bags is they close with ribbon. Still adorable though:

I bought a Pokemon Sinnoh starter keychain from a seller on pkmncollectors, I really like it a lot, it has a great spot on my bag:

I got three yards of Disney Cuties fabric to make pillows for Mike's parents for Christmas:

I got Mike for his birthday the Slayers lineart post card collection, I am giving him two for each special occasion.

These are the ones I am giving him for his birthday:

And these are what I am still waiting on:

- Two Sailor Moon art prints from a friend on LJ, one is a small poster of Eternal Moon Myu and the other is a small half page print with the princess and the prince.
- A small kawaii order from Rainbowcatz website. I bought another small drawstring bag and a washcloth. I am going to use the drawstring bag for another dice bag (I love having variety) and the washcloth I am probably going to frame. The washcloth is from one of my favourite kawaii lines, Delicous Sweets, I was quite pleased to find other items other then the pencil case. There is is a sticker sack, pencil and a memo pad I would love to buy. This is a kawaii store in Canada which means cheaper shipping for me. The shipping for my items were $1.55 and I only had bought $4.00 worth of items.
- Sailor Moon manga cover cost cards. This was a OMG never have seen this buy. There is two missing from the set but this will make beautiful art work for my future home.

Blog a go!

I have decided what this blog will be. It will be my blog to keep track of my online purchases as well as my reviews and pictures. I love buying online despite some of it's major flaws, like people scamming. It also gives me an area to bitch about selling pratices I see.

I have been buying online only for two years and have been scammed only twice. Both times I should have made a paypal despite. The first time it happened was when I didn't have my own paypal account, I was using my boyfriend's. I'd give him the money for whatever I wanted and he would tell the seller my address. I posted a WTB on a Livejournal community called otaku_wishlist asking for a copy of Miyuki-Chan in Wonderland manga. This one person responded saying they indeed had a copy, I looked at their feedback and it was all postive, so I told my boyfriend to send the money. After three weeks I had not received my book, I asked the seller if they had sent it, I got no response. Since I was so new to online buying and that everything had gone well with everything else I had bought, I held out that it would be coming in the mail. It never came, even though it was a small amount of 10 dollars, it still was a lot to me. I really wanted that book.

The second time happened in 2008, once again it was on a WTB post I made. I never received the item I bought. I kept on seeing the seller buying stuff from other people. I thought it would be alright to buy from this person as someone had bought something from them and they had received it. I had made some money from selling some unwanted items from my collection and that is how I paid for the item I was supposed to get.

There was a time I was very close to filing a dispute. I had bought an expensive-ish item on eBay, I paid right after the auction, waited three weeks and had no communication with the seller at all. I sent the seller a message saying that I wished to know when it had been shipped out so I could know when to expect it in the mail. A week later there was a notice in the mail saying I had to pick up something at the post office. I knew that everything I had ordered was small, so those would be in the mail box. I received a huge box at the post office, my item had just been thrown in, with no protection. I still left this person postive feedback but marked them down severely on their communication.

Those were the only three bad times when buying. I don't care if shipping takes a long time as long as the seller informs me and doesn't suddenly dissaper.

These are the things I am waiting for:

- 2 small drawstring bags with anime characters, going to use them for dice bags. They come filled with candy ^_^.
- An eraser making kit bought from JapanKawaiYa on Etsy. Makes A hamburger, fries and soda eraser. Going to use it to make magnets for family for Christmas. Will probably buy more clay to make more.
- Sailor Moon manga cover cost cards. This was a OMG never have seen this buy. There is two missing from the set but this will make beautiful art work for my future home.

What I have received so far this week:

- Fabric to make pillows for my boyfriend's parent's Christmas presents.
- Pokemon Center Sinnoh Starter metal keychain for my bag for college.
- Boyfriend's present- Slayers lineart postcards.

I think if I hadn't gotten my own paypal account, I'd still be relying on my boyfriend which would hinder what I could buy online. I also have an eBay and Etsy account, both of those accounts are just over a year old. My newest buying account is on Chasethechuckwagon account, I signed up just to buy one game I had been looking for.
